Leavenworth Online's Staff is continually upgrading its systems and services to ensure the best possible service. The improvements above are highlights of moderate to major upgrades that were scheduled for completion.

Added PRI to bring Atchison to 161 V.90 Modems
Added redundant link, doubling bandwidth & increasing reliability to Atchison area
Added ESP to bring Winchester to 72 V.90 Modems
Added redundant link, doubling bandwidth & increasing reliability to Atchison area

Completed year long series (began January 2002) of upgrades/improvements including but not limited to the following:
Upgraded Email Server hardware and software
Added automatic Anti-Virus Scanning for all email messages
Added automatic Spam Scanning for all email messages
Upgraded Web-based email and Web-based calendar software (this is done on an continuing basis)
Upgraded Authentication Server hardware and software
Added third DNS server for increased speed and redundancy
Added Network Accelerators to Leavenworth, Atchison, and Winchester POPs for increased webpage download speeds. (Effingham POP is Accelerated via Atchison)
Upgraded Network Monitoring & Maintence Server
Upgraded backup servers
Upgraded Primary router hardware and software
Completed Major network redesign including the following:
